Formed in the summer of 1997 by founding members Aaron Butler and Adam Glynn (Bacterium). Frankenbok struggled for many years to find a drummer, but accepting that this was only a minor setback, they persisted with a drum machine.

It was in these early days that Tim Miedeckie and Scott Lang, from the recently depleted Zombonol, were recruited.

Finally, in August of 1999 the line up was completed by Michael Morley, who not only replaced the drum machine, but took the band to it's highly acclaimed reputation "LIVE", subsequently winning the Melbourne Metro Night Club's Battle Of The Bands.

In 2002, after a succesful year in which they re-released their debut album, Greetings And Salutations, along with supporting System Of A Down, and a string of gigs with sadly defunct Psi.Kore, founding member and singer Adam 'Hutch' Glynn left the band due to personal reasons.

After a wide search, Frankenbok are now a complete band again, with a new singer in the ranks. Details are still hush hush, but excitement builds until the first show back, THE BOK FUCKIN' ROCK.
